Measles: Death toll reaches 753 as three more children die in 24 hours
So far, 93 people have died with confirmed measles infections, while 702 have died with measles-like symptoms, the data showed.
The health directorate recorded the deaths of three children with measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours preceding 8am today (11 July).
No confirmed measles deaths were reported during the period, according to data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
So far, 93 people have died with confirmed measles infections, while 702 have died with measles-like symptoms, the data showed.
During the same period, 702 new suspected measles cases were reported, bringing the total to 110,601. A total of 84 confirmed cases were also recorded, bringing the number of laboratory-confirmed infections to 13,410.
Since 15 March this year, when authorities began issuing regular updates, the DGHS has recorded 93,491 hospital admissions with suspected measles.
Of them, 89,762 patients have recovered and returned home.
