TBS Graduates bids farewell to campus delegates
TBS Graduates organised a farewell ceremony titled "The Last Chapter" to honour its outgoing Campus Delegates, who represented their respective universities for nearly a year.
During their tenure, the Campus Delegates helped connect their campuses with The Business Standard by sharing university updates, student achievements, events and stories.
They also helped strengthen engagement between young people and the country's business news platform.
The farewell programme was attended by The Business Standard Editor Inam Ahmed, Senior Executive Editor Sharier Khan, Managing Editor Khaled Masood and Executive Editor Shakhawat Liton.
Addressing the delegates, the editors appreciated their commitment, hard work and contributions to making the TBS campus network more active and engaging.
The event featured a discussion session where delegates shared their experiences and exchanged views on key national issues.
The discussions covered Bangladesh's education system, challenges surrounding youth employment, the growing need for skill development opportunities and prospects for the country's younger generation.
Delegates also reflected on their journeys as Campus Delegates, saying the experience helped them develop leadership, communication, networking and journalism-related skills.
Many of them thanked The Business Standard for giving them a platform to grow personally and professionally.
The discussion concluded with participants sharing their future aspirations and their vision for contributing to society.
They emphasised the importance of responsible journalism, innovation and youth engagement in shaping a more progressive Bangladesh.
