SEYLON retains leadership in Bangladesh’s branded tea exports
According to the latest statistics from the National Board of Revenue (NBR), SEYLON has maintained its position as Bangladesh's leading branded tea exporter for four consecutive years.
The brand contributes nearly half of the country's total branded tea exports, reflecting the growing acceptance and competitiveness of Bangladeshi tea in international markets.
NBR data show that in 2025, Abul Khair Group accounted for 42% of Bangladesh's total branded tea exports, generating USD 1.47 million in export earnings. Finlay Tea ranked second with a 26% share and export earnings of USD 913,000, while Ispahani Group secured third position with an 11% share and earnings of USD 381,000. City Group and Vivid Venture occupied the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
SEYLON's continued leadership highlights not only the brand's strong international presence but also Bangladesh's growing capability to compete in the global tea market. The achievement reinforces SEYLON's commitment to delivering quality tea products and to strengthening the country's reputation as an emerging exporter of premium-branded tea.
