Community Bank marks women’s day with special programme
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a special programme to mark International Women's Day, bringing together female employees working in and around Dhaka.
Held at the bank's head office in Dhaka under the theme "Give to Gain", the event was attended by female officials and employees from different branches and offices.
Managing Director (Current Charge) Kimiwa Saddat delivered a message on the occasion, expressing appreciation for the dedication and contribution of women employees to the organisation.
In his message, he said the women of the bank represent a quiet strength behind the institution's progress and serve as a guiding force for its future. He noted that through their dedication, compassion and courage, women employees add greater meaning to the bank's work and bring humanity to its services.
He also said women's presence in the workplace goes beyond fulfilling professional responsibilities, as it helps shape organisational culture, build trust and inspire excellence across the institution.
Expressing optimism about the future, Kimiwa Saddat said the voices, ideas and leadership of women within the bank would shine even brighter in the years ahead. He added that when women grow, take initiative and lead with confidence, the institution gains resilience, innovation and purpose.
He further said the bank's Human Resources team remains committed to protecting dignity, ensuring fairness, and maintaining a safe and respectful workplace where every woman can thrive without fear or hesitation.
He concluded by encouraging continued support, opportunity and confidence for women, saying this would strengthen the organisation and help build a more hopeful future.
