HSC exams postponed in Chattogram, Rangamati, Cox's Bazar on Wednesday due to floods
A revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced later.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for Wednesday (8 July) have been postponed in Chattogram, Rangamati and Cox's Bazar districts due to flooding and adverse weather conditions.
The decision applies to HSC, Alim, HSC (BMT), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce examinations under the Chattogram Education Board.
The announcement was made on Tuesday in separate notices signed by Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
The notice said the examinations scheduled for Wednesday will be held as planned in Bandarban and Khagrachhari districts under the Chattogram Education Board.
Examinations under all other education boards across the country will also proceed according to the previously announced schedule.
A revised schedule for the postponed examinations will be announced later, the notice added.
