Chattogram Board postpones tomorrow's HSC exam amid worsening floods
The board said a revised schedule for the postponed examination will be announced later.
The Chattogram Education Board has postponed tomorrow's (10 July) Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Information and Communication Technology (ICT) examination due to worsening weather conditions and the deteriorating flood situation.
The decision was announced in a notice issued today (10 July), signed by the board's Controller of Examinations, Professor Md Parvez Sazzad Chowdhury.
According to the notice, the ICT examination scheduled for 11 July has been postponed at all examination centres in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Bandarban under the Chattogram Education Board.
The board said a revised schedule for the postponed examination will be announced later.
As widespread power outages may prevent candidates and guardians from receiving the notice online, the board has instructed officials in charge of examination centres to inform local residents of the postponement through public announcements using loudspeakers.
