Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi gets fresh 5-year jail sentence, asset confiscation ordered

The latest sentence was handed down in absentia, according to Panahi’s lawyer, Mostafa Nili, who spoke to Iranian reformist media outlet Emtedad.
