As Bangladesh is increasingly relying on solar-based electricity in its industrial sector, solar panels have been installed across the entire rooftop of NZ Apparels Limited – one of the country’s largest spinning mills – located in Narayanganj’s Araihazar. The factory management says the solar system is supplying 6 megawatts of electricity, meeting about 15% of the factory’s total power demand. The photo was taken on 17 December 2025.
