Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tie the knot in Madison
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially said "I do", bringing one of pop culture's biggest love stories to a fairytale ending with a lavish wedding that has fans talking around the world.
The superstar couple exchanged vows on 3 July in a glamorous ceremony at New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden, following months of intense speculation about when and where they would finally get married. The celebrations reportedly stretched well into the early hours after an exclusive rehearsal dinner the night before.
True to form, Swift and Kelce kept details of the ceremony under wraps until the last minute. Guests were only informed of the exact venue shortly before the event, while specially watermarked invitations were reportedly used to prevent leaks.
The guest list was every bit as star-studded as fans expected. Famous faces including Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Aaron Dessner and Camila Cabello were all spotted in New York ahead of the ceremony, fuelling excitement across social media.
The newlyweds also opted for a personal touch by writing their own wedding vows. Guests described the emotional speeches as heartfelt, humorous and deeply romantic, with the couple reflecting on how they met, their journey together and the future they hope to build.
Swift stunned in a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown paired with Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery, while Kelce also wore a bespoke Dior look. Rather than having a traditional bridal party, Swift's brother Austin served as her man of honour, with Travis' brother Jason stepping in as best man. Family friend Adam Sandler reportedly officiated the ceremony.
Music was always expected to play a major role in the celebrations. Kelce had previously revealed the couple preferred a live band over a DJ, while Swift had joked that close friend Ed Sheeran would almost certainly end up performing if there was a stage.
Guests also left with elegant keepsakes: embroidered lace handkerchiefs featuring the couple's initials, the wedding date and a subtle nod to Swift's hit song 'Blank Space'.
After years of dominating headlines, the world's favourite celebrity couple have finally made it official—and if the reports are anything to go by, their wedding was every bit as spectacular as fans had imagined.
