MetLife honours 949 top-performing agency professionals
MetLife Bangladesh has honoured 949 Financial Associates, Unit Managers and Branch Managers for their outstanding performance and pivotal contributions to expanding access to life insurance nationwide.
The awardees were selected for excellence in business performance, adoption of digital technology, superior customer service, generation of employment opportunities and advancing the accessibility of life insurance across Bangladesh.
The award ceremonies were attended by Regional President for Asia Lyndon Oliver, Head of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal and Vietnam Elena Butarova, and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh Ala Ahmad.
"Across Asia, we continue to see the vital role insurance professionals play in helping individuals and families build financial resilience," said Regional President for Asia Lyndon Oliver.
He noted that MetLife Bangladesh's top-performing agency leaders had demonstrated a strong commitment to customers, business performance and innovation, while helping to expand access to insurance protection.
Elena Butarova, Head of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam, said the company's agency network remained central to its operations.
"Their dedication to understanding customer needs, embracing digital tools and delivering quality service is strengthening trust in insurance and widening its reach across communities," said Head of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal and Vietnam Elena Butarova.
Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh, Ala Ahmad, said insurance agents played an important role in building trust and improving people's understanding of insurance as a financial planning tool.
"That is why we want to recognise their efforts and contributions on behalf of our customers," said Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Bangladesh Ala Ahmad.
According to the company, MetLife Bangladesh serves approximately one million individual customers and over 900 corporate clients through a nationwide network of more than 15,000 insurance agents.
