In 2025, the number of reported fire incidents rose to 27,059 from 26,659 in 2024, reflecting a 1.5% increase and causing 88 deaths. Meanwhile, fire-related damages increased by a substantial 27.7%, rising to Tk569.97 crore from Tk446.28 crore in 2024.
