UCB launches entrepreneurship programme in Savar
United Commercial Bank PLC has launched a monthlong Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Savar, Dhaka.
The programme is being conducted under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, with support from the Asian Development Bank and the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance.
Bangladesh Bank's SME and Special Programmes Department is supervising the initiative.

The programme was recently inaugurated at a ceremony by Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha.
UCB Senior Executive Vice-President and Head of Distributions and Strategy Md Ridwanul Hoque attended the event as the special guest.
Bangladesh Bank Joint Director Md Ayub Ali, along with senior officials of UCB, was also present at the event.
Promising local entrepreneurs joined the programme with enthusiasm, making the event lively and successful.
