NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026 features CS2, Robo Soccer contests
Esports and robotics took centre stage on the fifth day of NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026, with North South University hosting the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Tournament and Robo Soccer Competition on 15 June.
The events attracted students, technology enthusiasts and guests, organisers said.
Professor Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University, visited the venue, interacted with participants, and observed the competitions.
He commended the North South University Computer & Engineering Club (NSUCEC) for providing a platform that fosters innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence among university students.
The CS2 Tournament featured knockout rounds, with teams demonstrating teamwork, communication, and strategic execution.
Bangladeshi content creator and esports personality Nafis Rafsan also took part, drawing significant attention from attendees.
Running concurrently, the Robo Soccer Competition featured robots engineered and programmed by students competing in football-style matches.
The competition highlighted the practical application of robotics, embedded systems, and engineering principles.
Organisers said the combination of esports, robotics, and student participation made the fifth day a key segment of NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026.
Organised by the North South University Computer & Engineering Club, Cybernauts 2026 brings together students from across Bangladesh through technology-focused competitions and activities.
