HONOR launches ultra-thin Magic V6 foldable in Bangladesh
HONOR has launched its flagship foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, in Bangladesh for Tk249,999.
The book-style foldable measures 4mm unfolded and 8.75mm folded, and weighs around 219 grams, according to a press release.
HONOR describes the Magic V6 as the world's thinnest book-style foldable smartphone. Inspection and certification company SGS has tested its hinge to withstand 500,000 folding and unfolding cycles, the release said.
The handset features a 6.5-inch OLED outer display and a 7.95-inch inner display for multitasking, including split-screen note-taking and online meetings.
It also supports connectivity with Apple devices, letting users share files and extend the phone's display to a MacBook.
The Magic V6 is equipped with a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery containing 25% silicon. HONOR claims it is the largest battery used in a foldable smartphone to date.
Its AI Falcon Camera System includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance to water and dust, and also offers protection against accidental drops, the company said.
Lang Guo, Country Manager of HONOR Bangladesh, said foldable smartphone users should not have to compromise on design, reliability or performance.
"With HONOR Magic V6, we focused on what truly matters: a natural form factor, trustworthy durability and seamless cross-ecosystem productivity," he said, inviting users to consider the phone's design, reliability and performance.
"This phone reflects our commitment to building AI devices that empower people to realise their fullest potential, as we set out to do with our HONOR ALPHA PLAN."
The Magic V6 is available in red, white and gold.
