Electro Mart CEO Nurul Afser wins Asia Prestige award
Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Managing Director of Electro Mart Group, Md Nurul Afser, has been named the Asia Impactful and Influential CEO of the Year 2026 at the Asia Prestige 50 Under 50 CEO Excellence Awards 2026.
The award ceremony, held recently at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, recognised 50 business leaders under 50 from 28 countries.
Cambodian Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Hem Vanndy delivered the opening remarks, while Association of Global Entrepreneur President Heang Vuthea gave the welcome address.

Hem Vanndy presented the award crest and certificate to Md Nurul Afser, recognising his leadership and contributions to Bangladesh's electronics and home-appliance sector.
With more than 33 years of experience, Afser has driven the expansion of Electro Mart Group's portfolio, operational development and retail network. He has spearheaded initiatives in market research, product development, distribution, and the local manufacturing of electronics brands such as Konka, Gree, and Haiko.
According to the company, his emphasis on energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products, sustainable growth and customer trust has reinforced Electro Mart Group's position in Bangladesh's electronics market.
