BAFEDA holds training workshop on exchange rate calculation
The Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association held a day-long training workshop on exchange rate calculation at a Dhaka hotel on Saturday, 4 July 2026, aiming to enhance expertise in foreign exchange operations among banking professionals.
Titled "Exchange Rates Calculation Philosophy and Its Significance", the event brought together 108 executives and officers from 54 banks nationwide.
Acting Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Treasurer of the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association, Md Altaf Hossain, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.
