Two more vice chairmen elected to Bangladesh Association of Banks

The Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) has elected two more vice chairmen for the remainder of its current term, which runs until 31 December 2026.
The newly elected vice chairmen are Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, and Sharif Zahir, chairman of United Commercial Bank PLC.
The decision was made at the 230th Executive Committee meeting of BAB, held today (5 May), reads a press release.

The meeting was presided over by Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of BAB and chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC.
