He said Jubo Dal will play a positive role in advancing the BNP government's "Shobar Age Bangladesh” vision.
Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the future development of Bangladesh depends entirely on youths.
Speaking after paying tribute at the graves of former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia today (13 June), he said BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has approved the full committee of Jubo Dal.
Fakhrul was accompanied by members of the newly formed central committee of Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the ruling BNP.
He expressed hope that the new leadership will strengthen the organisation nationwide and help it become a more dynamic force.
He also said Jubo Dal will play a positive role in advancing the BNP government's "Shobar Age Bangladesh" (Bangladesh First) vision.
Fakhrul said the Jubo Dal leaders visited the graves of party founder and former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia to pay their respects.
"We prayed that Almighty Allah grants this committee the strength, courage and wisdom to build Jubo Dal into a strong organisation across the country and to work for the welfare of the nation," he said.
Fakhrul said one of the government's key priorities is to place young people at the forefront of national development, adding that Bangladesh's progress depends on its youth.
"Bangladesh's development depends on its youths. We believe the new committee will successfully carry out the responsibilities entrusted to it," he added.
Fakhrul said the newly elected Jubo Dal leadership will work for the country's development and public welfare under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.
Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna, General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan and other leaders attended the programme.
