US President Donald Trump said on Sunday he was in "deciding mode" on Iran, outlining three possible paths as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high.
During an interview with Fox News, Trump said the United States could pursue "wiping them out," allow Iran to "rot economically," or negotiate a deal, says Arab News.
He also warned that Iran "better behave" and said he was deciding "if and when" to take severe military action.

Trump's comments come nearly seven months after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Tehran.
With Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian attending the UN General Assembly in New York, Trump said he would "probably be open" to a direct meeting with the Iranian president.
An Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman warned that any new attack would force Tehran to change both the "war geography" and the quality of weapons deployed in the region.
Iran's top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said Tehran had conveyed its conditions to Washington through mediators for reopening the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Iran had attempted to blockade the waterway during the war.
Despite Iran's blockade attempts, US military officials said oil, gas and cargo shipments moving out of the Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz had reached their highest levels in six months over the past two weeks.
