Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his staunch detractor Rahul Gandhi today (11 April) exchanged greetings and had a brief conversation at an event inside the Indian parliament premises in New Delhi, marking a rare interaction between the two leaders in India's sharply polarised political landscape.
The interaction took place at a public event attended by Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, alongside Modi, Gandhi and other senior leaders who gathered to pay floral tribute to social reformer Jyotiba Phule, ANI News reported with visuals.
