Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said during a weekly media briefing in New Delhi.
India today (23 April) said it would not be appropriate to comment on unverified media reports in Bangladesh claiming that arms allegedly manufactured in Indian ordnance factories had been found in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
"We have seen some reports. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on unverified media reports," Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said during a weekly media briefing in New Delhi, responding to a specific question.
He added that "Indian ordnance factories operate under strict guidelines and within a very stringent accountability framework."
