Police have detained thousands of people in the Indian capital, New Delhi, during a crackdown ahead of a planned protest by the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP). The detentions were made during operations conducted on October 9 and 10, targeting individuals who had arrived to participate in the protest.
