US urges its citizens in Middle East to be ready to leave in case of escalation
Washington has warned all US citizens in the Middle East that the situation could spiral out of control at any moment. The US government has asked them to prepare to leave the region quickly if necessary. Washington has also advised them to be prepared for possible flight cancellations, temporary airspace closures and other travel disruptions.
