Is NATO splitting in two?
On one side of the two-sided battle is NATO's current Secretary General Mark Rutte, who is known internationally as the 'Trump whisperer' or Trump's mind manager. According to Rutte, staying under the American umbrella is the only way to keep NATO's one billion people safe. At the opposite pole, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has established himself as a staunch critic of Donald Trump. According to him, NATO's middle power countries should reduce their blind dependence on America and develop their own completely independent and self-sufficient military capabilities.
