Generating heat without carbon, how does a molecular solar battery work?
Grace Hahn's research, MOST technology, can store the sun's heat not directly as electricity, but chemically inside molecules. The molecules change in sunlight to "lock" the energy, and then when a specific trigger is given, that energy is converted into heat. This makes it possible to store energy for a long time without carbon emissions, and it can even be used in the future to heat homes or other purposes.
