Pirates, hijacks and hurricanes: The world’s most dangerous shipping routes revealed

As a result many countries considered global shipping to be of paramount importance, so much so that Britain and the US unleashed an arsenal of weapons as soon as oil transportation was threatened

The International Maritime Bureau (IMB) has shared an image of the latest position of the ship hijacked by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean on Monday morning.
