World Bank delegation visits Ctg port Bay Terminal sites

The delegation visited the port as part of the process of providing around Tk4,000 crore as a loan for channel dredging and breakwater construction for the Bay Terminal project

The Bay Terminal Project of Chittagong port makes progress in various stages. Four German firms are set to be appointed as consultants for channel dredging and breakwater construction. A technical delegation of the World Bank, which will provide a Tk4,000 crore loan to the port, will visit the project site from 4 to 12 September. The photo was taken recently.
