From viral videos to wedding vows: MrBeast finds his MrsBeast

YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has married his longtime girlfriend Thea Booysen in an intimate ceremony on billionaire Richard Branson's private Necker Island.

MrBeast himself made the announcement by sharing a series of photos through posts on social media platforms today (22 July).

I found MrsBeast," the YouTuber wrote, calling it the best day of his life.

The wedding, attended by around 70 close friends and family members, was kept largely out of the public eye, with no media invited, according to media reports.

The couple shared photos from the ceremony, where they exchanged vows before dancing to Lady Gaga's "Die With a Smile".

Thea, who is also a gamer and content creator, wore a gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture, while Jimmy chose a Ralph Lauren tuxedo, media reports said.

The celebrations reportedly lasted two weeks and included activities such as snorkelling, wakeboarding, and wildlife experiences on the island.

Jimmy and Booysen first met in South Africa in 2022 through a mutual friend and began a long-distance relationship shortly afterwards. He proposed on Christmas Eve in 2024 in the presence of their families.

MrBeast is behind the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world. The American YouTuber is credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centres on expensive stunts.
