GTA 6 unveils new world details
Rockstar Games has revealed a lot of details about Grand Theft Auto 6 through 12 new screenshots featured in Game Informer's latest cover story.
The screenshots offer a closer look at Leonida, the game's fictional take on Florida, while highlighting several gameplay and world-building features.
One of the images shows Jason being pursued by members of the First Chapter, a motorcycle gang based in the Ambrosia region. Another shows the interior of The Thirsty Wolf, a biker bar that appears to serve as one of the gang's hangouts.
Rockstar has also revealed that GTA 6 will feature a wider range of body types, detailed skin features such as sunburn, tanning and moles, and localised weight gain.
The game will include 170 animal species, including more than 60 bird species and 30 land mammals. Hunting, fishing, scuba diving, mini golf, billiards and visits to the zoo are among the activities players can take part in.
The screenshots also showcase dynamic weather, with localised rain showers, changing cloud formations and puddles that remain after rainfall.
Other details include weapon customisation, photography, social media through Snapmatic and a simulated citrus farm, underscoring Rockstar's focus on creating a detailed and interactive game world.
