First two episodes of 'Jujutsu Kaisen' S03 set to drop tomorrow
Episode 1 is titled “Execution”, and Episode 2 is titled “Once More/Again.”
Fans of "Jujutsu Kaisen" have a reason to celebrate as the popular anime series returns with its third season tomorrow (8 January). The first two episodes will premiere on the same day, promising intense action and new story developments.
According to media reports, the new season will pick up after the Shibuya Incident arc and continue the high-stakes battles fans have come to expect.
Season 2 focused on the Shibuya Incident arc, featuring several character deaths and major battles. One of the most important events was the sealing of Gojo Satoru by Kenjaku, which shifted the balance of power. With Gojo out of the way, Kenjaku was able to advance his plan, while the higher-ups at Jujutsu High exercised authority more freely, including ordering the execution of Itadori Yuji.
The season concluded with Yuta Okkotsu's appearance. Fans were initially thrilled, but it quickly became clear that Yuta's mission was not to assist Yuji. Instead, he aimed to neutralise Yuji and put an end to the threat of Ryomen Sukuna.
Although Yuji has grown stronger, he is still not ready to fight someone of Yuta's calibre. Survival becomes his immediate priority as Season 3 begins.
According to a Game Rant report, the first two episodes of Season 3 will release tomorrow. Episode 1 is titled "Execution", and Episode 2 is titled "Once More/Again."
Preview images shared by the anime's official social media accounts show Itadori and Yuta in key moments, hinting that their confrontation may dominate the opening episodes.
Season 3 will also introduce new characters with important roles in the story, and some may appear after the first fight between Yuji and Yuta.
Both episodes will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
