Dream Theater’s 'Parasomnia' dominates UK rock charts

Progressive metal icons Dream Theater return with 'Parasomnia', their first album in nearly four years, making a strong impact on UK charts.

The album debuts inside the top 10 on four different rankings, including a No 1 spot on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart—their fifth leader on that list.

Since their last chart-topping album in 2019, the band has released 20 projects, but 'Parasomnia' is their first to reclaim the top spot.

It also lands at No 2 on the Official Album Downloads chart and No 6 on both the Official Albums Sales and Physical Albums lists. 'Parasomnia' further debuts at No 12 on the Vinyl Albums chart and No 23 on the Official Albums ranking.
