2025 K-POP World Festival wraps up auditions in Dhaka
The 2025 K-POP Bangladesh Global Audition wrapped up in Dhaka on Saturday evening, with South Korean Ambassador Park Young-sik praising the talent and ambition of Bangladeshi youth.
"The future of Bangladesh is very bright because of its smart, talented and ambitious young people," said Ambassador Park during the event held at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
Organized by the South Korean Embassy in partnership with IUB, the audition aimed to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations. This year saw 105 video entries in the performance category, with 15 teams selected for live auditions. Groups like Rudhin, A-Maze, Knight Sisters, and Last Min8 were among the finalists, with five teams awarded top honors.
Winners will be recommended for the final round of the 2025 K-POP World Festival in Changwon, South Korea. The embassy reaffirmed its commitment to cultural exchange through ongoing events like film festivals and K-POP concerts.
