Helio launches Helio 110 in Bangladesh

Helio has launched the Helio 110 in Bangladesh, featuring a curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, 64MP main camera, 6,000mAh battery and a rear display, priced at Tk26,999.

The smartphone is positioned as a feature-rich device combining design, performance, battery capacity, cameras and smart features, according to the press release.

One of the key features of the Helio 110 is its 3D Dual Curved design, slim profile and ergonomic grip, aimed at providing a premium appearance while remaining comfortable to hold.

The combination of PU leather and polycarbonate gives the phone a distinctive finish, with the device available in Flame Orange and Navy Blue colour options.

The phone also features a Rear View Display on its back panel, designed for practical interaction rather than decoration.

The small rear display can provide visual feedback when changing the volume, show the date and time, display notifications, and support text and emojis, offering users another way to interact with the device.

The Helio 110 comes with a 6.67-inch 3D Dual Curved AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour depth.

The specifications are designed to deliver vibrant colours, smoother motion and an immersive viewing experience.

With peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits, the display is also designed to remain visible in bright outdoor conditions.

For extended screen use, the smartphone includes Flicker-Free Technology, Intelligent Dimming, Circadian Rhythm Sleep Care and Eye Care features, designed to make prolonged viewing more comfortable.

The Helio 110 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, featuring an octa-core processor and a GPU clocked at up to 1,100MHz.

The device is designed to support everyday multitasking, app launches, entertainment and gaming.

It also comes with LPDDR4X RAM and high-speed internal memory to support faster data access and smoother multitasking.

The Helio 110 offers 8GB of physical RAM, which can be extended to up to 16GB through Extended RAM, along with 128GB of internal storage for apps, photos, videos, documents and other files.

For battery life, the smartphone features a 6,000mAh high-density battery designed to support extended gaming, streaming, browsing and everyday work.

It supports 45W fast charging, with a 45W charger included in the box.

Under specified charging conditions, the phone can reach 50% charge in around 35 minutes, according to the company.

For photography, the Helio 110 features a 64MP main camera with electronic image stabilisation (EIS), designed to reduce unwanted movement while capturing photos and videos.

The main camera is accompanied by a 2MP macro camera for close-up photography.

The smartphone also offers several camera features, including Live Photo, Dual-View Video, Sports Mode, Document Correction and Smart Group Photo.

Dual-View Video enables users to record through the front and rear cameras simultaneously, which can be used for travel content, reaction videos and other forms of everyday content creation.

For selfies and video calls, the Helio 110 features a 32MP front camera, with portrait and beauty features also available.

Beyond its core hardware, the smartphone includes NFC, an infrared remote control, Intelligent Noise Reduction and dual speakers.

Intelligent Noise Reduction is designed to reduce background noise during calls and improve voice clarity, while the dual-speaker setup is intended to enhance videos, music and gaming.

The Helio 110 carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes within the limits of the certification.

It also features Iron Guard protection, designed to improve resistance against everyday impacts, including drops from around one metre.

For security, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.

It also includes sensors such as a gyroscope and compass.

The Helio 110 runs on Android 16, while the company said an Android 17 update is planned, subject to official availability.

Customers purchasing the Helio 110 will also receive a Grameenphone bundle offer.

The smartphone is priced at Tk26,999 in Bangladesh and comes with a 15-month service warranty.

Helio said the combination of its curved AMOLED display, performance, battery capacity, cameras, Rear View Display and other smart features is aimed at providing users with a comprehensive smartphone experience at an accessible price point.
