Cleaner arrested for allegedly filming woman in Ctg Cineplex washroom
The arrestee was identified as Jitu Pal, 23, a resident of Anwara upazila.
A cleaner of a Cineplex outlet in Chattogram was arrested for secretly recording a video of a woman inside a washroom at the Cineplex at Finlay Square in the Nasirabad area of Chattogram port city yesterday (21 August).
The arrestee was identified as Jitu Pal, 23, a resident of Anwara upazila.
He had been working as a cleaner at the Cineplex for the past seven to eight months.

Witnesses said the woman went to the Cineplex with family members to watch a movie. At one point, when she entered the washroom, she allegedly noticed someone attempting to record her using a mobile phone.
She then reportedly confronted and caught Jitu at the scene.
People nearby subsequently checked his mobile phone and allegedly found a video of the woman recorded inside the washroom. They also reportedly found videos of several other women allegedly recorded secretly at different times.
Cineplex authorities informed police, who rushed in and arrested Jitu.
Police said the incident was under investigation and that the videos found on the mobile phone were being examined.
Officer-in-Charge of Panchlaish Police Station Zahedul Islam said legal action will be taken after investigating the allegations.
