bKash lowers cash-out charge for monthly withdrawals
bKash has announced a reduction in its cash-out charge through Priyo Agents, lowering the fee to Tk13.95 per Tk1,000 for monthly withdrawals up to Tk50,000.
Customers will be able to access the reduced rate each calendar month by selecting two Priyo Agent numbers. The charge, which includes VAT and all other costs, is in line with bKash's official cash out terms.
The mobile financial service provider stated that the initiative aims to make transactions more affordable for its 84 million customers.

Customers may select two Priyo Agents from bKash's nationwide network of more than 350,000 agents. Once selected, these numbers cannot be modified within the same month, but may be changed in the following month.
To add a Priyo Agent using the bKash app, customers should select "Cash Out" from the home screen, tap "Priyo Agent", and follow the instructions.
Customers can also add a number by dialling *247#, selecting "My bKash", and choosing "Priyo Number". The remaining discounted cash-out limit may be checked via the app or by dialling *247#.
Withdrawals from agents other than the selected Priyo Agents will incur a charge of Tk18.50 per Tk1,000.
The higher rate will also be applicable to any transaction that results in a customer's total monthly Priyo Agent cash-out amount exceeding Tk50,000, according to bKash.
