Information minister uses Bangla QR at Aziz Super Market
On 4 July 2026, Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Member of Parliament Zahir Uddin Swapan made purchases using Bangla QR via Dutch-Bangla Bank's app at Aziz Super Market in Shahbagh, Dhaka, to promote cashless transactions and raise public awareness.
Customers can make instant cashless transactions using Bangla QR through Dutch-Bangla Bank's NexusPay and Rocket apps.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dutch-Bangla Bank, Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, and Spokesperson and Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Arif Hossain Khan, attended the event, along with officials from both organisations.
