Rotary Club of Motijheel wins Gold Club Award
The Rotary Club of Motijheel has been honoured with the Gold Club Award 2026 at the Rotary International Annual Award Ceremony for its exemplary performance and service.
The ceremony, held at Sea Palace Resort in Cox's Bazar on 26 June, honoured Rotary clubs and leaders for service and achievement.
Md Enamul Hoque, President of Rotary Club of Motijheel, received the Gold President Award 2026 in recognition of his leadership and commitment to Rotary ideals.
SM Moinul Islam, Immediate Past President of Rotary Club of Motijheel, was awarded the Platinum Award for his contribution as Assistant Coordinator of the Rotary International President's Special Assistant Team.
The club also received the Best Outstanding Club Visit Award in recognition of its activities and organisational performance.
According to the club, these achievements reflect its dedication to community service and the Rotary principle of "Service Above Self".
Club activities were coordinated by Secretary SM Rahmatul Mujeeb, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, with support from fellow members.
Past District Governor Ishtiaque A Zaman presented the awards in the presence of Sattya Ranjan Saha; Mohibullah Mamun; and other Rotary leaders and members from across the country.
The Rotary Club of Motijheel expressed gratitude to Rotary International leaders, club members, partners, and well-wishers for their support.
The club reaffirmed its commitment to serving humanity and creating a positive impact through ongoing community service initiatives.
