World Bank, ADB lead in foreign loan disbursement in FY26

In FY26, foreign loan disbursements to Bangladesh fell 5.8% to $8.07 billion from $8.57 billion in the previous year. Meanwhile, the country secured $5.24 billion in foreign loan commitments from development partners in FY26, the lowest in 14 years.
