Bangladesh ranks 98th out of 149 countries in Ookla's Speedtest Global Index for fixed broadband speed in June 2026, with a median download speed of 69.80 megabits per second (Mbps), compared with the global median of 125.59 Mbps. At Bangladesh's median broadband speed, downloading a 5GB movie takes 9.55 minutes.
