Mammals that sleep the least
TBS Illustration
Most of the world's shortest sleeping mammals sleep for fewer than 5.5 hours a day on average. The shortest sleepers are mostly large herbivores that spend much of the day grazing to meet their calorie needs, as grass is relatively low in energy, leaving less time for sleep.
