Beyond RMG: Bangladesh's leading export earners FY26

Bangladesh exported $38.7 billion worth of readymade garments (RMG) in the just concluded fiscal year FY26. The sector remained the country's largest export earner, accounting for 80.6% of total export earnings of $48 billion.
However, apparel exports fell by 1.64% in FY26, while overall non-apparel exports registered 4% growth.
