Southeast Bank board congratulates MA Kashem on re-election as chairman
The Board of Directors of Southeast Bank PLC congratulated the bank's founder, MA Kashem, on his re-election as chairman at its 797th meeting, held at the bank's boardroom in Dhaka.
Kashem presided over the meeting, which also reviewed the bank's transformation, governance, strategic growth and sustainable development priorities, according to a press release.
Southeast Bank Vice Chairperson Rehana Rahman and Directors Jusna Ara Kashem, Duluma Ahmed, Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engineer Khandker Badrul Hassan, Nur Nahar Tarin, and Md Rafiqul Islam, a nominee of Asia Insurance PLC, attended the meeting.
Independent Directors Barrister M Moyeen Alam Firozee and Nurjahan Begum were also present.
Southeast Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Md Khalid Mahmood Khan and Deputy Company Secretary Md Touhidul Huq also attended the meeting.
The bank said it remains committed to strengthening governance, pursuing sustainable growth and delivering greater value to its customers, shareholders and other stakeholders.
