Sheltech Ceramics wins award for decent work and economic growth
Sheltech Ceramics, one of Bangladesh's leading ceramic tile manufacturers, won the "Decent Work and Economic Growth" award and received an Honourable Mention in the "Most Sustainable Real Estate Company of the Year – Building Materials Company" category.
According to a press release, the company won the "Decent Work and Economic Growth" category for its initiative, "Progress Through People: Transforming Bangladesh's Largest Island".
The recognition highlighted Sheltech Ceramics' efforts in Bhola to combine sustainable business practices with local employment, skills development and long-term community engagement, where its manufacturing facility is located.
The achievement reflects the company's belief that long-term business success goes hand in hand with the progress of the people and communities it serves.
The company also received an Honourable Mention for its documentary, "Crafting Tomorrow: Transforming Bangladesh's Largest Island".
The documentary shows how responsible industrial development can contribute to the social, economic and environmental progress of local communities.
The recognition reinforces Sheltech Ceramics' commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through responsible manufacturing, community development and sustainable growth.
