Ruhul Quddus Khan elected UCL chairman
Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) has elected Ruhul Quddus Khan as Chairman of its Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning 28 July 2026.
The appointment was among several changes approved at the company's 328th Board Meeting, according to a press release.
Following the resignation of outgoing chairman Masud Khan, Ruhul Quddus Khan was elected under Article 94 of UCL's Articles of Association, and the Board invited him to take up the role.

He also serves as chief executive officer and managing director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited.
The Board welcomed Ruhul Quddus Khan to his new role, expressing confidence that his leadership and strategic guidance would support UCL's continued growth and long-term success.
The Board also elected Shadman Sadikin as a Non-Executive Director of UCL.
It approved Samsuddoha Nayeem's appointment as Head of Finance, subject to the completion of applicable regulatory processes, and appointed Sharmin Akter as Company Secretary.
UCL said the appointments reflected its commitment to strengthening corporate governance, leveraging internal expertise and ensuring effective leadership across the organisation.
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability while creating sustainable value for its stakeholders.
