Radiant hands over 10 neonatal, pediatric ventilators to health ministry
Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited has donated 10 advanced neonatal and paediatric ventilators, manufactured in the United States, to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as part of emergency healthcare support aimed at preventing child deaths amid the recent measles outbreak in the country.
Earlier, on 31 March, Radiant also provided two sets of neonatal and paediatric ventilators to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital as part of its emergency healthcare support initiatives.
Radiant Pharmaceuticals Board Member Musawath Shams Zahedee formally handed over the ventilators to Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain today (12 May).
The state-of-the-art neonatal ventilators will play an important role in treating newborns suffering from severe respiratory distress.
Especially during the current health crisis, the ventilators are expected to further strengthen life-saving medical support for newborn babies.
