Premier Bank holds sub-branch performance review meeting
The Premier Bank PLC convened its 2026 Sub-Branch Business Performance Review Meeting at the bank's head office in Dhaka on 27 June, reaffirming its commitment to strategic growth and operational excellence.
The meeting was organised to evaluate the bank's sub-branch performance and to outline future strategic priorities under the leadership of the newly constituted Board of Directors.
Sixty-seven sub-branch in-charges from across Bangladesh participated in the event.
Discussions centred on assessing sub-branch performance, identifying avenues for business expansion, and formulating strategies to achieve sustainable growth.
Participants received strategic guidance to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen business outcomes.
Dr Arifur Rahman, Chairman of The Premier Bank PLC, attended the event as the chief guest, while Md Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director of the bank, was present as the special guest.
Deputy Managing Director Niamat Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director SM Wali Ul Morshed, Deputy Managing Director Amalendu Roy, and Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Al-Amin were also present, along with division heads and other senior officials.
During the meeting, Mohammad Shamim Murshed, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Division; Mohammad Ahsan Ul Alam, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Agent Banking, Cards and Alternative Delivery Channels Division; and Asif Khan, Head of Small and Medium Enterprise and Agriculture Banking Division, presented strategic business plans and upcoming initiatives.
The plans focused on strengthening the performance and sustainable growth of the bank's sub-branch network.
