ONE Bank gets BSEC approval for Tk400 crore subordinated bond
ONE Bank PLC has received approval from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) to issue a Tk400 crore subordinated bond with a seven-year tenure.
The unsecured, non-convertible, fully redeemable and floating-rate bond has received all regulatory approvals. Proceeds from the issuance will strengthen the bank's capital base and support its continued business growth and strategic priorities, according to the press release.
ONE Bank said it remained focused on building a more agile and resilient financial institution equipped to meet future needs, with greater emphasis on digital transformation, financial inclusion and responsible banking.
The bank is working to improve how customers access and experience financial services while expanding its capacity to support businesses and communities across Bangladesh.
