Mithai launches campaign to distribute 3,000 indoor plants
Mithai, one of the country's leading sweet and bakery brands, has launched a special campaign titled "Mithai er Sathe Shobujer Pothe" to promote environmental awareness and encourage healthier living.
As part of the initiative, the brand plans to distribute 3,000 indoor plants among customers.
Under the campaign, customers purchasing cakes from selected Mithai outlets are receiving indoor plants as complimentary gifts.
The initiative aims to improve indoor air quality and increase the presence of greenery in urban households.
Mithai Head of Marketing Anisul Islam said, "Air pollution has become one of the biggest challenges in urban life today. According to a recent report by IQAir, Dhaka is among the world's most polluted cities. In this context, indoor plants can play an effective role in improving indoor air quality. Through this initiative, we aim to create social awareness and encourage an environmentally friendly lifestyle."
"Mithai has always believed in engaging customers through positive and meaningful initiatives. Through the campaign, we want every family to become part of small but impactful green initiatives," he added.
Mithai Deputy Brand Manager Masum Billah said the campaign was launched recently and around 500 indoor plants have already been distributed.
"The campaign will continue until 30 June, with a target of distributing nearly 3,000 indoor plants," he said.
Currently, customers purchasing cakes from 10 selected outlets in Dhanmondi, Mirpur, Uttara, Badda and Niketan in Dhaka can collect the indoor plants.
More details about the campaign are available on Mithai's official Facebook page.
