Md Babul Mia joins BCIC as chairman
Additional Secretary Md Babul Mia joined Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) as chairman on 1 October.
Before taking up the role, he served as an additional secretary at the Ministry of Planning, according to the press release.
Babul joined the 15th Bangladesh Civil Service administration cadre on 15 November 1995.

During his career in field administration, he served in various districts as an assistant commissioner and magistrate, assistant commissioner (land), upazila nirbahi officer, and additional deputy commissioner.
He also held important positions in central administration at several ministries, including the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, and the Ministry of Planning.
