Mastercard, Southeast Bank and SSLCOMMERZ launch SME credit card
Mastercard, in partnership with Southeast Bank PLC and SSLCOMMERZ, has launched a co-branded SME Mastercard Credit Card designed exclusively for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs onboarded through SSLCOMMERZ's payment platform.
The new card aims to simplify financial management for business owners across Bangladesh, enabling seamless digital transactions both domestically and internationally.
Through Mastercard's secure global payment network, cardholders will also enjoy exclusive domestic and cross-border discount benefits from Southeast Bank and Mastercard's network of more than 9,500 merchant partners across the country.

The launch event was attended by Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Managing Director (current charge) of Southeast Bank PLC; Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager of Mastercard Bangladesh; Sayeeful Islam, Managing Director of SSL Wireless; Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, Chief Executive Officer of SSL Wireless; Zakia Sultana, Director of Mastercard; Jubaer Hossain, Lead of Merchant and Commerce at Mastercard; and Md Abdus Sabur Khan, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Card Division, Southeast Bank PLC.
Senior officials from the three organisations were also present at the event.
